Placement cell at Amritsar Group of Colleges (AGC) is a team of professionals and vibrant people working together to assist and help the students to get the better job options through campus recruitments. The whole team work hard to create great placement opportunities for the students by inviting top-notch corporate companies viz. Wipro, HCL, Intel, Amazon, Tata, Alight Solutions (AON), Just Dial, Ford and many more reputed ones, for the recruitment purposes. The Training & Placement Cell not just creates placement opportunities, but also arranges Pre-Placement Training sessions, which makes the students industry-ready. Placements in the year 2018 are at its peak. The top recruiters are visiting at Amritsar group of colleges for recruiting the brilliant students. The Training & Placement Cell is regularly keeping the students up-to-date to make them industry-ready. The highest packages offered in this academic session i.e. 2018 are offered to the students of various Departments viz. Mr. Siddharth Marwaha from Department of Hotel Management is placed in Qatar Airways with a whopping package of 16 Lac per annum, similarly Mr. Lovejit Singh of B. Tech CSE with 15 Lac, Mr. Archit Ahuja (B. Tech CE) with 12 Lac and Ms. Loveleen Kaur (B. Tech CSE) with 5 Lac, are placed in Amazon, Sobha Limited and Hewlett Packard (HP), respectively.
